First day
I enjoyed the first day of my work experience with John.
First John showed me the premises, we introduced each other properly and he told
me some things about networking and the network he uses for his shop.
After that we looked at how the computer system works and
I got my own administrator account, so that I can use the PCs.
Then I explored some of the games and. Furthermore John showed me the profiles of the regular customers.
Second day
The second day started with the usual maintanence of the computers and
afterwards John taught me some of the programmes he had written.
Finally he taugt me the basics of HTML-Programming.
That was the point I started to design this page. Then there were two customers at once who wanted
to use the photocopier, each with a bunch of files. It is weird, because either there is nobody, or many at once.
Third day
We started off with the usual morning work - backing up the computers,
banking,... - then I spent the most of the day playing the computer games and helping customers.
Day four
After the routine work, we had a computer to repair. While repairing John refreshed my mind about
computer hardware. After lunch I had to leave because I had a meeting with the teachers and the group I am here with.
Day five
John showed me how to colour the page, so it doesn't look too boring. This evening he allowed me to invite some friends,
so we could play CS via LAN - he granted us a special discount and closed later to let us finish the game.

Day six
Today I learned how to put pictures into a homepage. I had some chats with customers,
went to the Post Office for John to send a package.
Day seven
By now things have become routine, but today we did some data
recovering from a faulty USB-Flash-Drive.

Nothing special.
Day nine
Nothing special.
Day ten
I was again allowed to invite my friends to the shop to play games together - it was great fun.
John was very helpful and kept the shop open until nine o'clock. We played CS, COD 4, Battlefield Vietnam...
Day eleven
Today we - actually John, and I watched him - repaired a headset, which
took us - actually John - about half an hour. I learned a lot.
Day twelve
John and I had a very long conversation about Networking, Johns career, other businesses and a lot more...
I think today I leared the most. The "lesson" was very interesting.

Nothing special
Day fourteen
Tomorrow is my last day, so John is goin to let me out earlier.
Last Day
Today is my last day, so John lets me away earlier to do some shopping and to meet my friends
I really enjoyed the workplacement with John. I learned a lot and had fun at the same time. I think
I am going to miss the chats with John.
